In the United States it’s common practice to not have a postpartum birth plan. But did you know in other countries it’s protocol to have one?

𝐸𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦 𝑏𝑖𝑟𝑡ℎ 𝑠𝑡𝑜𝑟𝑦 𝑖𝑠 𝑑𝑖𝑓𝑓𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑡. But our affirmations remain the same. As a doula I am here for you through it all, at home births, hospital births, birth centers, and more.
Positive affirmations I like my clients to remember and repeat:

⭐️I am built for birth. My body and my baby know what to do.
⭐️my baby will be born at the perfect time.
⭐️ I put all fear aside and prepare for the birth of my baby.
🌊each surge of my body brings my baby closer to me.
⭐️I can do anything for one minute.

I appreciate this precious little teacher of mine! She reminds me to slow down in a world where things can always feel like a big hurry.

As a doula I am there for my clients to make sure their birth doesn’t get hurried. I want to make space for your body and your baby to have all the time they need. Some births are fast, but they don’t need to be rushed. If everyone is safe and healthy it’s on your timeline.
