Our Personal Touch winner for July is Addee Harris. Addee is a Certified Nursing Assistant and has been working at Legacy House for over a year! Addee is a fantastic aide and coworker. One example of her greatness is that in our Memory Care we have been making little “All About Me” cards for each resident to help our staff get to know each of them a little better. Addee came in for our staff meeting and instead of going home after she stayed and read a bunch of those cards with the memory care residents. This brought up a lot of good memories for our residents and a lot of good conversation starters for Addee. While they were reading a resident asked her for blueberries. As Addee went home she kept thinking of our sweet resident craving some fresh blueberries. She wanted to be the one to make it happen for them. Addee went to the store and picked up some blueberries for our resident and brought them in the very next day. Addee is always going above and beyond for our residents. Thank you Addee for being willing to love our residents and serve them in so many ways!
