Lisa is a Licensed Practical Nurse at the facility and has been with Logan Center for 21 years. She prides herself on making sure her patients are provided the utmost care and compassion. Lisa exemplifies dedication to her job and patients each and every shift she is in the facility. She treats every patient as if they are her own family members and can often be found bringing goodies in for them or decorating the nurses station to ensure patients enjoy each holiday.

Lisa reminds us daily that caregiving is more about assuring patients have an amazing experience at the facility all while feeling valued and loved rather than just a daily job. She's the perfect example of someone who Leads With Heart!❤️

Kathy Jo has been with Logan Center for almost 7 years as an LPN and graduated from Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College's Registered Nurse Program.

The embodiment of an amazing nurse who loves her job but loves her patients even more, Kathy Jo prides herself on making sure each patient is provided the utmost care and experience whether they are coming in short term for rehabilitation or staying for long term care.🫶

Directors of Post-Acute Partnerships, Karri Kennedy and Lisa Snyder had an opportunity to discuss Respite Care with Tabitha Justice of Just Us Retirement Solutions.

Respite care is a valuable option for caregivers. Karri says, "If you need a safe place for your loved one while you tend to your own matters, that's where we come into play."

At Genesis, we're committed to meeting the unique needs of every patient. Lisa says, "Even during that 7-14 day period, we're still going to establish a plan of care that's conducive for that patient."

Help us 🎉Congratulate🎉 Bethani Adkins as the Leading With Heart Recipient❤️ for Logan Center! She has been a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) at the facility for a little over a year.

Bethani approaches every patient with the same compassion and affection that she would expect her own family to receive. She prides herself on providing each patient with the utmost care and attentiveness all while ensuring everyone is met with a smile on her face.

Bethani is the epitome of a professional caregiver that you would want to care for your loved one. For her, being a CNA is more than a job--it's her passion!💪 A passion that ensures her caring actions and attentiveness to her patients always makes a lasting impression in the lives of every patient she cares for on a daily basis.

Logan Center would like to Congratulate our newest Licensed Practical Nurse, Kayla Carter! Kayla graduated from the Ralph R. Willis Career and Technical School of Practical Nursing where she received the prestigious Florence Nightingale Award.🎖️ This award is the highest international distinction a nurse can receive and is awarded to the student who made a lasting impression on their patients, peers and healthcare facilities all while providing outstanding quality of care. 🫶

Kayla has been employed with Logan Center since 2014 where she began her career in healthcare at 17 years old after she graduated high school with her CNA license. Her passion for her job and to ensure patients are provided excellent care are what led her to enroll in LPN school.🩺

Kayla is the embodiment of a healthcare professional who truly loves her patients and prides herself on making sure they have an amazing experience whether it be for short or long term care.
