We are always welcoming new patients! We would love to be your dental team!
Hello, I’m Dr. Bryce Fenton, DMD, and as I reflect on my journey to becoming a dentist, I’m filled with a profound sense of gratitude. Today, I’m honored to help patients achieve wellness, not only through their oral health but through a whole-body approach that supports their overall well-being.
I’m humbled by the path that has led me here. My approach to care, rooted in empathy, compassion, and a holistic view of health, is as much a product of my early life experiences as it is my professional education and military service. Why I Became A Dentist:
My first major encounter with dentistry came at just eleven years old, when an accident cost me my front teeth. It was a defining moment; I spent countless hours in the dental chair undergoing treatments to restore both the function and appearance of my smile. While the process was long and challenging, it was transformative. I was awed by the expertise and care that went into every procedure, but most of all, I was amazed by the life-changing impact my dentist had on my self-confidence.
That experience sparked a desire to help others in the same way, leading me to work in my father’s dental practice throughout my teenage years. Starting as a file clerk, then moving to the front desk, and eventually assisting chairside, I absorbed every aspect of the practice. Working alongside my father taught me how dentistry could transform lives by restoring both oral health and self-esteem, a realization that has stayed with me through every stage of my career.
Growing up in a family that valued hard work and community, I was taught early on that the health and happiness of those around me was paramount. My family always encouraged me to pursue my passions, and from a young age, I had a natural fascination with health, science, and understanding how the body works. But I wanted to do something hands-on, something where I could make a direct, positive impact on people’s lives.
Professional Education:
After completing my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2009, I went on to earn my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Midwestern University in 2014. Soon after, I had the honor of serving as a dentist in the United States Army. My military service shaped my commitment to precision, discipline, and integrity in my work.
During my 5-year service in the U.S. Army, I completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency, learning advanced techniques and honing my skills in providing comprehensive care. I’m incredibly grateful for the experience, the camaraderie, and the opportunity to serve alongside so many dedicated individuals.
Over time, my understanding of health began to expand, which I realize now was preparing me for the next chapter in my family story. In 2023, my wife Rebekah and I adopted a more holistic lifestyle in response to health issues that medication alone couldn’t address. By focusing on nutrition and wellness, we were able to make significant strides in our health without relying on prescriptions. This journey led me to the Westin A. Price Foundation, where I learned about holistic health practices.
Conversations with others in this community opened my eyes to holistic dentistry, a field I knew little about but felt instantly drawn to. I wanted to learn more about the connection between oral health and overall wellness and the role that biologic dental practices could play in promoting long-term health.
I attended my first Holistic Dental Association conference in April of 2024, and the experience was eye-opening. I was introduced to the IAOMT (International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology) and their SMART (Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique) protocol for safe amalgam removal, which aligns with the biologic approach I’m passionate about. During the summer of 2024, I completed my SMART certification, and our dental hygienist is now exploring additional ways we can serve our patients with more holistic, health-focused care.
I also have a special interest in Airway Health for adults and children. I have completed extensive courses with VIVOS® Therapeutics to better understand how to treat sleep and breathing disorders and become a certified VIVOS® dentist.

A Calling, not Just a Career:
One of the most impactful cases I remember was a woman who entered our practice covering her mouth, embarrassed by her damaged teeth. She left the office with a beautiful, restored smile that lit up her entire face. Seeing her regain confidence was unforgettable. It was moments like these that confirmed for me that dentistry was a calling, not just a career. I saw how trust and community could blossom in a dental practice, watching our patients bring in their children and, eventually, even grandchildren. The trust that patients extend by bringing their loved ones to our care is something I value deeply and am proud to see growing at Cache Valley Dental Associates Biological Dentistry today.
Family Is My Foundation:
My family and I have found a warm, welcoming community here in Logan, Utah and the surrounding area. Rebekah and I have been married since 2006, and we’re proud parents of three incredible children—two boys and a girl. Family is my foundation and my source of strength. Spending time outdoors with them—whether it’s camping, fishing, or working on projects together—is where I recharge. Living closer to extended family has brought us so much joy, and we’re thrilled to be raising our children in such a beautiful area.
A Brighter, Healthier Future with Biologic & Holistic Dentistry:
As I look to the future, I am filled with excitement and gratitude. My practice is not just about treating teeth; it’s about supporting patients on their journey to health and wellness. I am continually learning, adapting, and growing so I can offer my patients the best of biologic and holistic dentistry, helping them achieve optimal health.
Every day, I’m honored to be trusted with the well-being of my patients and am committed to making a positive impact on their lives. Together, I know we can achieve not only healthier smiles but a brighter, healthier future for all. If you are searching for a new dentist and dental team, we welcome you with open arms to become part of our dental family and community.
Sincerely,
