🔥 The Witch Archetype — She Burns in My Blood

I teach about the feminine archetypes (and a new class coming online!) — Maiden, Mother, Wild Woman, Crone, Witch.
Each holds a map back to our sacred feminine.
But the Witch… she burns deepest in my blood.

For generations, women like us were misunderstood.
The healers. The empaths. The truth-tellers.
Those who felt everything too much, saw too deeply, spoke too honestly.
They were named dangerous for what they could not hide — their power.

And so the Witch was born.
Not as evil, but she IS evidence.
Evidence that when a woman embodies her intuition, her emotion, her elemental nature… she threatens systems built on control.

For centuries, the Witch has been hunted, silenced, and shamed.
But she never died.
She went underground , into our wombs, our dreams, our rituals, our poetry.
She lives in every woman who has ever been scapegoated for her sensitivity.
In every mother who trusts her gut over the crowd.
In every healer who refuses to dilute her medicine to make others comfortable.

The Witch is not a villain — she is the bridge.
Between body and spirit.
Between grief and rebirth.
Between the known and the unseen.

To walk with the Witch archetype is to remember that the fire that once burned us now belongs to us.
We are no longer at the stake — we are the flame. 🔥
And this Halloween, as the veil thins, I honor her — and all of us — who are done proving our innocence to the village.

✨ I have an online class coming soon that dives deep into the feminine archetypes — including the Witch, the Mother, and the Wild Woman — and how to embody their wisdom in daily life. Stay tuned if you feel her stirring in your bones.

Your body already knows the rhythm. 🌗
The first half of your cycle is for expansion — ideas, creation, movement.
The second half is for integration — slowing down, nourishing, preparing the soil for what’s next.

When we honor both, we stop chasing balance and start living it.
Rest is not resistance to productivity — it’s what makes our creation potent.

✨ Want to go deeper into this work?
Join our WombCare Class Saturday, Nov 15 — an exploration of the energetic and physical nature of your cycle.
Learn fertility awareness charting, seed cycling, and how to live in harmony with your cyclical energy — body, mind, and womb aligned.

Our bleed is a cleansing. 🌙

Each cycle is your body’s way of releasing what isn’t meant to be carried forward — physically, emotionally, and energetically.
Honor it. Slow down. Let the purge do its sacred work.

Our cycles are not something to be managed they’re something to be understood.
Each phase is a portal.
When hormones rise, we create. When they fall, we feel.

That drop in progesterone that so often gets labeled as “too emotional” or “PMS” (and yes sometimes there’s medical imbalances or illness at play causing extreme waves outside of the biological norm).

What it actually is, is your body’s built-in alchemy — softening the edges so emotion can move, heal, and release!

Tears aren’t weakness. They’re movement.
They carry the residue of what’s ready to go.
And when we honor that rhythm instead of fighting it, we stop pathologizing our biology and start partnering with it.

This is cyclical living.
It’s living in Full Circle. 🜂🌙

✨ Did you know?
Before I became a Doula & Placenta Encapsulation Specialist, I worked in the lab at Logan Regional Hospital handling human tissue and specimens every single day. Working with blood products and biological tissue is second nature to me. 🩸🔬

That experience, paired with my placenta encapsulation certifications, means your placenta is handled with the same strict standard of care:
• One placenta at a time. We intentionally created one dedicated station so your placenta always receives undivided attention.
• OSHA/Bloodborne Pathogen Certified. Safety is not optional — it’s required here.
• APPA-approved supplies & stainless steel work surfaces. Everything is designed for hospital-grade cleaning and sanitation.
• Strict sanitization protocol. Each step is followed by thorough double disinfection to protect you, your family, and future clients.

Your placenta isn’t just a product, it’s part of your healing journey. And it deserves to be prepared with integrity, safety, and respect every step of the way. 🌙✨

We celebrate the belly when it’s round,
when it’s carrying life.
We hold it, photograph it, bless it.

But when that same belly softens,
when it bears stretch and scar,
when it is no longer “making someone else,”
but still working endlessly to sustain you
we’re told to erase it.

On September 13th, from 1–3 PM in Ogden,
I’m holding a women’s circle to honor the postpartum body,
whether you’re weeks, years, or decades past birth.

Raquel, ( ), a gifted henna artist, will teach us the ropes.
Then we will create art and bless our bellies and each other’s.

It will be powerful.
It will be vulnerable.
It will be brave.
And it will be a reminder:
Your belly is still worthy of reverence.

Date: Friday, September 13th
Time: 1–3 PM
Location: Ogden, UT

Everyone tells new moms to “get your body back.”
🙄 Crunches.
🙄 Bootcamps.
🙄 “Bouncing back.”

But here’s the truth: your first postpartum workout should start with your breath.

Why?
Because your pelvic floor + deep core are the foundation of everything you’ll do after birth.
If you jump straight into planks, squats, or running, you’re stacking weight on a house without a foundation.

🌬️ Breathwork reconnects your core from the inside out.
🌬️ It teaches your pelvic floor to fire and release.
🌬️ It sets you up for strength, stability, and long-term healing.

If you’re newly postpartum, start here:
✨ 360° rib cage breathing
✨ Gentle pelvic floor activations on the exhale
✨ Daily 5–10 breaths, 2–3x/day

Slow is strong.
And your recovery is worth doing right. 💪✨

Tell me—did anyone teach you this after birth, or did you just get told to “exercise” as a means to “recover”?

Coming back from maternity leave has been tender and beautiful and honestly, humbling.
To see clients wait for me…
To feel your trust hold steady…
To be welcomed back with bookings already lined up…

It makes me feel so deeply valued. Like my work truly matters. Like what I offer has a place in your life, your care, your sacred transitions.

So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
To those who save space in your budget for my services…
To those who prioritize this kind of care…
To those who see the heart and hands behind the offering…

I see you. I’m so grateful.
I’m officially back to work and here’s to this next season together! 🌕

There’s no other force on Earth quite like a mother
reaching the edge of her limits—
and still finding a way through.

Not through willpower alone,
but through love.
A love so relentless, so embodied, so divine
that it moves even when she’s breaking.

Mothers are the ones who reach their “can’t”:
“I can’t do another sleepless night.”
“I can’t make it through another contraction.”
“I can’t go one more day in this overstimulated body, in this under-supported season.”

And yet—
we always do.

“I can’t” lives at the edge of our humanness.
But something else lives there too.
Something ancient.
Something holy.
Something that rises when we have nothing left to give.

Call it Spirit.
Call it the Divine Mother.
Call it the breath of our grandmothers whispering,
“You are not alone.”

We don’t just survive—we alchemize.
We don’t just push through—we become.
We walk through fire and emerge carrying life.

It’s not loud.
But it is holy.
And it’s changing the world—
one “I can’t” at a time.

I wrote my postpartum plan today. Not a checklist, but a map.
A love letter to the future me. A reminder that I matter, too.
That the mother is also born — and she deserves to be held with just as much reverence as the baby.

Postpartum isn’t something to “bounce back” from.
It’s a sacred portal of return, of repair, of realignment.

So I’m planning for:
• Extended rest and no hostessing.
• Nourishing, mineral-rich meals.
• Hands-on healing, emotional tending, and bodywork.
• Reiki, heat, oils, and herbs to calm my nervous system.
• Community care. Pre-screened helpers. Scheduled rhythms.
• A slow, warm, sacred entrance into this next season of motherhood.

This plan includes support for my mental health, my hormones, my spirit, and my nervous system.
It includes people I trust, boundaries that protect, and rituals that restore.

Because postpartum care should not be a luxury.
It should be woven into the culture of birth — as essential as the birth itself.

If you’re preparing for birth, take time to plan your postpartum too.
Write it down. Speak it out loud. Call in your village.

What’s one thing you’re putting in your postpartum plan?
If you need ideas, I’m happy to share resources that helped me build mine.
