Fisher Funeral Chapel - Logansport, IN

Fisher Funeral Chapel - Logansport, IN Three Generations of Excellence in Funeral Service We will match any local funeral home's bonafide quote if we are not already the best price.

*A licensed funeral director is available 365/24/7.
*We offer traditional burials and cremation services as well as memorial services, green burials, home funerals and direct cremation or burial packages. *We also work with families choosing to donate their body to the Indiana Anatomical Board or those wanting to donate organs/skin/bones/eyes through the Indiana Organ Procurement Association so they may have a traditional viewing, if desired.
*Our "Fair Price Guarantee" assures families that we offer the best value for exceptional service and facilities. We believe that you should not have to pay your life's savings to pay your respects and we offer dignified options in every price range. We also work closely with Medicaid and Township Trustees to assist families in dire need.
*We believe in educating the public about the advantages of a pre-planned funeral. We offer Forethought Life Insurance to fund pre-arrangements. We also accept transfers of pre-arrangements that were made at other funeral homes.
*Recognizing that nearly 60% of our clients are not affiliated with a church, we have on-staff celebrants available to officiate at funerals, memorial services and graveside rites in accordance to your specified wishes, either religious or non-religious. We can also help family members wishing to officiate at the services by providing them with ideas and support. We work closely with all local clergy members and take great care in observance of each denomination's traditions and rituals when it comes to the sacred rites of burial.
*Our firm recognizes the sacrifice our veterans and active duty military members have made for our freedom. From VA benefits to military markers, we assist the family in every aspect during this difficult time. We work closely with the Cass County Veterans Council Honor Guard as well as the Indiana National Guard and Reserves Military Honors team to provide a fitting tribute to those who served.
*Our website http://www.fisherfuneralchapel.com features a free "Light a Candle" tool, permanent guestbooks, grief support access to chat with others in our affiliation with the international Grieving network, and the ability to link video tributes, videos of the services, or actual webcams of the service in realtime.
*We assist families needing to purchase cemetery space and can often provide options by using our list of individuals wanting to sell lots at a discounted price. For your convenience, we also sell monuments. Through our granite dealer, we pass on our wholesale savings to you.
*Our funeral chapel was built with your comfort in mind. A beautiful oak fireplace and the warm, soothing colors of the sunrise greet you at the front door. There are no stair steps and no steep ramps to encounter! You will find drive-up access to the front door under a covered portico with valet parking available, if needed. Restrooms are spacious enough for wheelchair access and for families with toddlers/infants. The ladies powder room features an area for nursing mothers. Our lounge and kitchenette provide a homelike setting where families can grab refreshments and relax with a tv and toys to keep the children busy.
*We are family owned and operated. Our professional staff members are continuously furthering their education to offer the very best in restorative art skills. We are committed to our community as evidenced in the many organizations we belong to and the many ways we contribute to this community. Our family has also experienced great loss, so we "have been there, done that" and know the journey of grief that you are facing. We promise to be with you and guide you through this difficult time, helping you create a beautiful tribute to your loved one.

At 84, Jan Wilson never lost her zest for life—or her love of a triple cheeseburger and fries from McDonald’s. The staff knew her order by heart and looked forward to seeing her walk through the door. Her granddaughter summed it up best: “Every memory I have with my grandma was a wonderful and special moment.”

We invite you to read Jan’s full obituary and celebrate the many ways she brought joy to those around her.

Let’s talk turkey…here’s our family’s favorite way to use up leftovers! It was originally shared in an old Pharos Tribune recipe book years ago.

This photo album was created to honor traditions and good food! Don’t you love the ones in their own handwriting! The ones with the splatters and grease dots tell the story of a special, much-loved recipe!

If you would like to share a recipe that your loved one was known for, message us and we’ll include it in this album!

Shop Local Saturday Can Wait – Keep Safety First 🌨️

Cass County is under a winter storm warning today - the roads are slick with ice beneath the snow. Listening to the scanner right now and there are lots of slide-offs! Do not venture out unless it’s an absolute necessity! Shopping can wait until it’s safe – your wellbeing matters most! We’d hate to meet you by accident!

When the skies clear, and the roads are safe, we invite you to stop by Fisher Funeral Chapel for a truly meaningful gift idea:
DVDs of the Cass County Veterans Tribute – originally produced 25 years ago on VHS - the DVD features hundreds of local vetetans who served in WWII, Korean War amd Vietnam.

All proceeds benefit the Cass County Honor Guard, supporting those who honor our veterans with dignity and respect.

Office Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM

Let’s celebrate Shop Local Saturday by remembering that community isn’t just about shopping – it’s about honoring our history, supporting our neighbors, and caring for one another. Stay safe & warm today!

On Thanksgiving morning, Anna’s family joined hands in prayer, giving thanks for her life. How fitting that she went home to the Lord on a day devoted to gratitude, family, and fellowship.
