Here are our 2021 Holiday hours.
Thanksgiving:
Wednesday,11/24 ..................................... Closing at 1 pm
Thurs -Fri 11/25 & 11/26....................... Closed

Christmas:
11/17-11/26................................................. Closed for annual holiday

New Years Eve:
We will be open our regular scheduled hours.

During the closed days Dr Hubbard will be taking urgent calls. Prescriptions will not be refilled during this time. Please Check and make sure that you will not be out prior to our closing.

Three weeks ago I received the 2nd Moderna Vaccine so I am now fully vaccinated. No side effects other than chills and pain at injection site. For my parents that are interested in getting their vaccine you can go to https://dph.georgia.gov/covid-vaccine. Starting Monday, the general public, 55 and older will be eligible. Stay safe. We are almost out of this.

Happy Holidays. Hubbard Pediatric Group will be closed for it's annual observance of Christmas. The office will be closed December 21 and re open on December 28th. We will then close half day on December 31 and all day on the January 1st. If you are getting close to needing refills please call as soon as possible to get them taken care of. You will still be able to reach Dr Hubbard during this time via our after hours phone system. Please note that extended telephone calls will occur a visit fee. Please be safe this Holiday season.

As state budgets tighten and we get ready to face a recession make sure your child’s physical is up to date. We are calling people who are behind but you do not have to wait. If you feel your child needs one soon reach out to us. Troubling news is brewing as some states are deciding if their Medicaid funds will be cut.

Three states have cut back state spending on the program since the pandemic hit, and more are warning of painful cuts to benefits and services.

Corona journal day 6. This week has really been stressful. I want to thank everyone for being patient with us as we figure out our new normal. I know this week has been hard for you all as well. This is the first time in a long time I do not know what to expect next week. Our world has been turned upside down. 2020 has really been an eye opener. I guess it is only right that it would be this year. To update you on what is going on at the office. We have added telemedicine and it has gone well with only minor speed bumps, like the time I forgot to open my camera and did not notice until the call was complete. Also we are reorganizing our phone system to be able to handle the calls better. Last but not least I have started this journal. Hopefully you will find it interesting to read as the days go on. Next week is sure to be interesting. Hopefully everyone finally has enough toilet paper. I pray that you are doing well and enjoying the time with your family. Stay home, because there is nothing going on in the streets anyway. I will try to write again tomorrow. Don’t forget to wash your hands.
