From Delia, one of our hand therapy patients:

"After breaking my right elbow, I lost almost all range of motion in my dominant arm. Simple daily tasks-using a fork, brushing my hair, getting dressed, sleeping comfortably, or even picking things up-became nearly impossible, and I had to rely on my husband for almost everything. When I started therapy with the DPT and OT team, they immediately designed splints tailored to my recovery, adjusting them as my progress improved.

"Through therapy, my improvements came step by step. My range of motion gradually returned, my strength increased as the exercises became more challenging, and I was finally able to do the daily tasks that once felt impossible. Over time, I regained my independence and the confidence that I could get back to normal life. What once felt overwhelming and out of reach slowly turned into real progress, and now I am almost back to 100%.

"What made my experience unique was the way the OT team cared for me throughout the process. They didn't just focus on the technical side of recovery--they took time to understand my personal goals and adjusted my treatment to match what mattered most to me. Their encouragement and dedication on even the hardest days made me feel supported every step of the way. It truly felt like a team effort to get me back to being myself."

Our Flat Rock clinic had a spooktacular time at the annual Halloween Trunk-or-Treat in downtown Flat Rock!

We had a wonderful afternoon of community engagement — families, kids, and even some furry friends stopped by our decorated booth! The event created a great opportunity to connect with local residents and share our clinic’s spirit of care and fun.👻🧙‍♀️🐾

Our Lombard clinic is happy to introduce Dr. Carl Wharam, PT, DPT, who has been an integral part of the team for the past few months. Dr. Wharam is also the clinical director and physical therapist at the Bartlett clinic. He offers a unique skillset, specializing in orthopedics and craniofacial diagnoses. He provides skilled interventions to treat patients with headaches, tinnitus, temporomandibular disorders, long COVID, as well as cervical and lumbar pain.
