LJ's Healing Hearts is a non-profit organization that raises awareness and financial support for families impacted by congenital heart defect. The creation of the foundation was inspired by Lucy Shannon, who was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome at 23 weeks gestation. Since birth she has had six open heart surgeries and multiple hospital stays. To date she is happy and healthy 1st grader currently post successful heart transplant. Lucy's family has been blessed with a support group that has endured all the ups and downs along side them. We want to extend that support to the CHD world and bring hope and help to other families stuggling on this journey.

June assistance was bittersweet. We were able to provide $10,000+ to six families, however, after the assistance was dispersed, we had to close applications due to lack of funds.
