We are a full-service, American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited veterinary hospital, capable of handling most medical and surgical cases. AAHA accreditation means we hold ourselves to the highest standards of veterinary medical service. It may surprise you to know that unlike human hospitals, accreditation for animal hospitals is voluntary. Only 12-15% of veterinary practices have gone through the rigorous, time-consuming evaluation process that includes 900 standards of veterinary excellence. We are extremely proud of this achievement.e look forward to seeing you there. Thank you!

Happy Halloween! May your treats be plenty and your tricks be few.

Our first-ever Puppy Yoga event was a tail-wagging success! 🐶🧘‍♀️

115 participants joined us for an evening of relaxation, mindful movement, and puppy cuddles. The joy, laughter, and wagging tails made this such a special community experience!

A big thank-you to all the puppy owners who allowed us to help with socialization and to the Lombard Park District for hosting us in their space. We can’t wait to see you all at our next event! 💛

Erika, one of our Client Service team members, recently wrote a blog about Día de los Mu***os and the tradition of honoring the pets who hold a special place in our hearts. We’ve also created an ofrenda in our lobby to remember and celebrate these beloved companions. We invite you to stop by and take part in this meaningful tribute. Family Business

Lombard Veterinary Hospital was established in June 1959 by Dr. Paul and Mary Jo Arndt to provide the animal population of greater DuPage County with a complete health care facility. Some of our clients remember the early days when Dr. Arndt’s family lived in the apartment upstairs. Ownership passed to youngest daughter, Dr. Georgianne Arndt Ludwig, in October 2012.
