Friday Wellness Tip: The Restorative Salt Bath

A warm salt bath is one of the simplest ways to soften the week out of your body. It supports muscle relaxation, eases tension, and helps your nervous system shift into a calmer state.

What to add

• 1 cup Epsom salt
• ½ cup sea salt
• Optional: a few drops of lavender or eucalyptus
• Optional: dried rosemary for clarity and energetic cleansing

How to make it intentional

• Dim the lights
• Take 3 slow breaths before stepping in
• Set a quiet intention like “I release the week and return to myself.”
• Soak for 15–20 minutes

Midweek tension happens — and sometimes all your body needs is a gentle pause.

Try this simple acupressure practice to release stress and calm your nervous system:

✨ How to do it:
• Use gentle, steady pressure
• Massage in small circles
• Breathe slowly and deeply
• Spend 30–60 seconds per point
• You can repeat 1–2 times a day

✨ Where to massage:
• Between the eyebrows — helps quiet the mind
• Inner wrist (three fingers below the palm) — calms stress and tension
• Base of the skull — releases neck and shoulder tightness
• Between thumb and index finger — eases overall tension (see note below)

⚠️ Pregnancy note:
If you are pregnant, avoid the point between the thumb and index finger.
The other points listed above are generally considered gentle and safe when used lightly — but always listen to your body and consult your provider if unsure.

Small moments of care can create big shifts.
Slow down, breathe, and let your body soften.
