Did You Know?

Reba was a true trailblazer from an early age—hosting her own radio show as a child where she played the violin, along with mastering the harp, cello, piano, and organ.

Her talents stretched far beyond music. By 12, she was certified to fly solo, and in high school, she earned a record-breaking score on the U.S. Military Intelligence Exam. Reba went on to train Apollo astronauts on early onboard computer systems—all while raising four children. She lived by the belief that there are no limits in life, only the limits we place on ourselves.

9am: Opening Ceremony at Lomita City Hall
11am - 3pm: Lemon Ninjas at Coastal Funeral Center (25001 Narbonne Avenue, Lomita, 90717)

Youth Entrepreneurs: The Lemon Ninjas (Zeke, Lucas, and Zachary)

Lemonade Flavors: Calamansi, Calamansi Iced Tea, Dragonfruit, POG, and Yuzu

50% of their proceeds will go to Community's Child, and they can accept cash and Venmo for payment. Parking is available at Coastal Funeral Center. We hope to see you on Saturday!

At Coastal Funeral Center, we believe every life has a beautiful story worth sharing 💙

Juan Jose Flores Pineda, born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and raised in Lomita, touched countless hearts with his vibrant spirit and love for life. A proud graduate of Torrance High School, Juan’s creative talents shone early—he learned to play both the piano and accordion, and later shared his gifts through singing, acting, and performing. As a Disney Cast Member, he brought magic to others while staying deeply inspired by his favorite character, Ariel from The Little Mermaid, whose adventurous and whimsical nature mirrored his own.

Despite years of illness, Juan remained a beacon of positivity, embracing life with courage, joy, and authenticity. Dearly loved by family and friends, he leaves behind a legacy of light, laughter, and love. Today, we remember Juan as a true “mermaid in the sky”—forever swimming in the hearts of those who knew him.
