One-on-one time is so important and often means the world to our residents. Our Life Enrichment Director truly enjoys pampering and spending quality time with each resident, creating moments filled with comfort, conversation, and care. Today, Ms. Kay enjoyed a relaxing afternoon with a fresh gel polish manicure, coffee, snacks, and lots of smiles. It’s the little moments and personal connections that make such a big difference in someone’s day.

Here at London Health and Rehab, as part of a larger initiative with the Life Enrichment Department, we’re working to make dreams come true for our residents through the Dream Come True Project! Richard’s special wish was simple but meaningful — a peaceful trip to the lake, time to read his book, and enjoy his favorite snacks.

Sometimes the smallest moments create the biggest memories. No dream is too big or too small when it comes to enriching the lives of those we care for. What a blessing it was to spend a few hours bringing joy, peace, and happiness to Richard’s day.

We would love to introduce Emily, our amazing new COTA, here at London Health and Rehab! Emily has quickly become such a special part of our family, especially in our Memory Care Unit, where she cares for residents with so much compassion, patience, and love. She truly treats every resident like they are part of her own family, and it shows in everything she does.

Today, Emily, the Life Enrichment team, and our residents enjoyed a beautiful picnic at the lake filled with laughter, fresh air, and feeding the geese. Moments like these are what make memories so meaningful and remind us how important joy and connection are each day. We are so thankful to have Emily as part of our team!

The upbeat sounds of David Mullin had our residents’ toes tapping, hands clapping, and voices singing along all afternoon! From classic favorites to lively tunes, the room was filled with smiles, laughter, and wonderful memories. Music truly has a way of bringing everyone together, and David made it a day to remember!

Nothing beats evening bowling with friends, laughter, and everyone cheering for that BIG strike! The excitement, friendly competition, and smiles made for the perfect night of fun and fellowship. Our residents had an absolute blast rolling into the evening with lots of team spirit and unforgettable moments!🎳

Ready for takeoff! Our residents celebrated National Paper Airplane Day with lots of laughs, creativity, and a little friendly competition! From folding the perfect airplane to seeing whose could soar the farthest, everyone had a wonderful time letting their imaginations fly. Simple fun, big smiles, and memories made together!

Fun Fitness Fridays are always a favorite around here! This week’s Luau-themed large group fitness class was packed with fun thanks to a wonderful collaboration between Life Enrichment and Therapy. The residents stayed active and engaged with kickball while jamming to The Beach Boys, relaxing chair yoga with meditation and memory sharing, and of course lots of laughs during the wildly fun game of Granny Pants! Our action-packed sessions keep residents moving, smiling, and making memories together!
