As we approach the last week in November and the end of our "No Shave Movember" campaign, we want to remind you about the importance of health screenings for men. Most of you are busy working and taking care of your families, but it is also important to take care of yourself. Routine visits to your primary care provider will give you the opportunity to identify serious health issues and the treatment needed to live a happy and healthy life.

Today, Madison Health visited the City of London Fire Department to talk men’s health, raise awareness for Movember, and make sure our firefighters — the ones who always show up for us — are supported too.

A huge thank-you to our local firefighters for welcoming us and for everything they do to keep our community safe. Let’s keep breaking the stigma and encouraging the men in our lives to prioritize their health — not just this month, but year-round.

WOW - this has been such a fun week! We were out and about again in London, Mount Sterling and West Jefferson promoting Men's Health with our "No Shave Movember" campaign. Brynne Adkins, Community Outreach Coordinator, had a great time visiting local businesses and having conversations with our community members about the importance of health screenings for men.

Surgical Oncologist, Dr. Brenda Sickle Santanello, and Community Outreach Coordinator, Brynne Adkins sat down with NBC4 to talk about how “small hospital” does not equal “small care.”
