🌳🦠 Did you know that Alpha Gal Syndrome is a serious allergy triggered by tick bites? 🌿🐾 This condition can cause life-threatening reactions to mammal products like red meat, dairy and certain non-food products.

To protect yourself:
- Use EPA registered insect repellents! 🧴
- Treat your clothes and boots with permethrin. 👖👢
- Change clothes and check for ticks after being in grassy or wooded areas. 🌲

Remember, not every tick bite leads to Alpha Gal, but if you suspect you might have it, consult your healthcare provider. Stay safe out there! 🩺💚

Through one of our partnerships with a local business, we’ve had the privilege of getting to know one of their staff members, Tonia. Tonia received difficult news that she has been diagnosed with lung cancer. As she begins this fight, she is facing not only the physical and emotional challenges of treatment, but also the financial strain of being unable to work. Without FMLA, time away for care means time without income.

We are hosting a fundraiser to help ease some of that burden. Every plate purchased, every share, and every bit of support makes a difference. We would love for you to join us, spread the word, and help us rally around someone who truly deserves it.
