At Rose NeuroSpa we help families deal with mental health and related co-occurring conditions by bringing cutting edge treatments in a spa-like clinic. We decided to open this clinic to help other families deal with the devastating issues relating to mental health and related co-occurring conditions. We immediately got her treatments, a psychiatrist and medication. We thought we were doing the right things but this is not something that our community discussed or openly dealt with. She seemed like she was fine but we now realize she put on a mask to “fit” into our upper class community. She always received good grades, was on the cheerleading team had a lot of friends … but deep down she still struggled with depression and anxiety. We didn’t see it and thought her great grades and outgoing personality meant she was “cured.” Well we eventually realized that she learned how to cope with her depression – through the use of drugs. By the time we discovered this she was full blown in addiction. We then had to navigate the even more confusing addiction and mental health field. We put her in the best hospital, sent her to the best in-patient treatment center and then helped her find a suitable sober living house. But it wasn’t enough and we lost our beautiful girl at the age of 20. In her honor, we want to open clinics in our communities to help individual and families deal with depression. We want to open the conversation about mental health and bring a spa-like clinic into our communities throughout Colorado. We’re changing the way mental health is treated. From our expertly trained clinical teams to our thoughtfully designed center, we’re committed to delivering innovative treatments reimagined. We understand medication and talk therapy aren’t the only option. This is mental health care, reimagined.
