I see many young women in their 20s and 30s who want to look their best and also get a head-start on preventing aging. Here are some of my recommendations.

The most important thing in my opinion, is to recognize that it is essential to make well thought out, informed and safe decisions about your face, because millimeters matter. Many treatments out there today have long lasting effects, even if they are marketed as non surgical or non invasive. I recommend to see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon because we have all tools available to us, from non-surgical to surgical options, and we can give you an informed and comprehensive recommendation on what is best for your individual case.

My beautiful patient 3 days after upper eyelid blepharoplasty. She has light bruising and swelling at this early stage which will be resolved at 1-2 weeks. She is doing very well and had no pain after the procedure.

I perform upper eyelid (upper eyelid lift) in the office awake with local anesthesia. This is a 30 minute procedure that rejuvenates the upper eyelids. When performed with precision, the incision is imperceptible when healed. Upper blepharoplasty makes you look more awake and youthful. Recovery is typically 1 week. No pain medication beyond Tylenol is necessary.

CO2 can be done every few months to treat fine lines and even deeper wrinkles. For wrinkles around the mouth, skin resurfacing is one of the most effective ways to improve this area. We combine CO2 laser with radiofrequency microneedling during the same session for the most effective treatment.

Modern laser treatments with fractionated CO2 have reasonable downtime of 5 to 7 days and by one week, patients are typically fully recovered.

I am a diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and am Harvard fellowship-trained in aesthetic and reconstructive Craniomaxillofacial Plastic Surgery of the face, nose and skull. I have specialized training in advanced rhinoplasty techniques using preservation and closed approach. My research interest is virtual simulation, 3D imaging, and computer-assisted planning in rhinoplasty. My work includes published research and invited lectures on the use of digital technologies to improve surgical precision, communication, and aesthetic outcomes, with an emphasis on translating advanced planning into refined, natural results in the operating room.
