Trubucha is a family owned kombrewery located in Lone Tree, CO that is dedicated to producing high quality fresh kombucha. Our founder Marc had discovered kombucha back in the mid 2000’s. Marc drank it on and off for many years. It was until the last couple of years, he drank it more consistently and started feeling better with his overall health. Marc started experimenting with it at home, making a mess in the kitchen regularly. Staying up late into the night and being too tired to finish cleaning, his wife was normally the one cleaning it up the next morning. Gradually he was mastering his kombucha brewing skills and spoiling friends and families with delicious flavors. Not only did Marc feel better in his overall health, it helped with sugar cravings. Also once he found that hops in kombucha tasted great, Marc’s cut back his alcohol intake! One night while the mad scientist Marc was in the kitchen perfecting his kombucha, his neighbors Scott and Amanda stopped over. Being teachers, living a healthy active Colorado lifestyle, they thought, in Marc's own words, he's a little weird for always doing things they would not expect. On Scott’s question what Marc was doing, he replied “brewing kombucha.” Their thought was literally “yeah, right! That's the stuff you buy in the store, not make at home.” Marc poured two glasses of kombucha, and after the first sip of fresh and flavorful drink, they knew right away that it was something they needed to share with the world. That’s how Trubucha was born.
