As the air cools and autumn deepens, I’m feeling both rooted and inspired— preparing to travel north to Hood River, Oregon for the Provender Conference, where I’ll be sharing our Kevala Body Care and Botanical line with the herbal and wellness community. It’s always such a joy to connect with kindred spirits who share a love for plant medicine and conscious living.

While I’m away, our Kevala space will continue to hum with beautiful energy. I’m so happy to share that our community clinic is returning — now called Align + Flow, a monthly gathering for holistic wellness, connection, and care.

During a shamanic healing, my spirit guide once led me to a temple for healing. We walked past flowing water, towering mountains, and ancient trees but never made it to the temple— I realized what my spirit guide was telling me: nature itself was the temple of my healing.

Recently, I felt this vision come alive as I stood among the Sequoias in Kings Canyon. Their presence reminded me of Ayurveda’s teaching — that the Earth (Prithvi) is our greatest medicine. She grounds, steadies, and restores us when we are unbalanced.

To sit with the trees is to return to the body.
To touch the soil is to remember your roots.
To breathe with the forest is to remember you belong.

🌱 Ayurveda tells us Earth’s medicine:

— Calms the restless Vata mind
— Softens fiery Pitta intensity
— Awakens stagnant Kapha energy

✨ Healing is not always found in temples or wellness centers built by hands, but in the living temples of Mother Nature - stone, root, and sky.

Beloved Kevala Family,
The air is shifting, the mornings arrive with a crispness, and I feel the season inviting us to slow down, gather inward, and tend to our roots. Fall always feels like a time of quiet transformation—an opportunity to listen more deeply, sip more slowly, and align with the rhythms of nature. 🍂

This past month has been filled with growth and beautiful new beginnings here at Kevala. Many of you have already had the chance to meet Jun, our gifted Rolfing practitioner, whose September welcome special has been such a blessing to share. His sessions have brought deep shifts and relief to so many—if you’ve been waiting to book, now is the time, as this special is almost at its end.

Looking ahead, Socorro, our talented bodyworker, will be offering special rates this coming month. With her focus on cupping, deep tissue, and lymphatic drainage, her sessions are a powerful way to release what no longer serves and create spaciousness for the season ahead.

Behind the scenes, I’ve been preparing to travel north for the Provender Conference in Hood River, where I’ll be sharing Kevala creations among fellow herbalists and earth stewards. And in an unexpected gift, I’ve been invited to present at Mountain Rose Herbs’ 10-Year Mercantile Anniversary in Eugene, offering an elixir demonstration in celebration of their decade of community magic.

I’m also feeling the stirrings of something we’ve been missing—our monthly Cosmic Tune-Up clinic. We’re dreaming of bringing it back soon, with offerings to realign, recharge, and root into the cycles of the moon and season. Stay tuned for more details.

And with so much joy, I share that Ananda De Martin will soon be joining our Kevala family. She brings the wisdom of Ayurveda, bodywork, Jyotish astrology, and somatic practices. Her presence feels like a true deepening of our vision, and I cannot wait for you to meet her.
