What the Luyben and Dilday families started over a century ago and what we stand for is still part of this business today. Not all funeral homes today are family owned even though they keep the family name - ours is. That's our name on the sign and we see it as your guarantee. In 2014, Luyben Dilday Mortuary was proud to become part of the Guerra & Gutierrez family. Guerra & Gutierrez Mortuaries has been family owned since they opened their doors in 1945. As a family owned firm, we take pride in being family focused. No appointment is ever needed and when you walk in our doors, we listen to your requests, work around your schedule and with reason customize a service to your wishes. We are honored to offer the most beautiful cemetery property in Southern California at a wide range of price options. By selecting Forest Lawn Memorial Park as our preferred provider, we have found a partner that not only shares our values but also provides the kind of personal attention and professional service that we are known for. Typically, only Forest Lawn families can use their chapels for funerals and other events. However, because of our partnership, our families can also use them as well. Since our founding, the Guerra & Gutierrez families have always believed in fair prices for funeral and cremation services. We want the families we serve to have the very best services at an affordable cost. We are about as far from big business as you can get. There are no commissions, no quotas and no pressure. There is no other mortuary with such a sincere and relaxed atmosphere. That's what happens when you are out to satisfy families instead of shareholders.
