Learning to ride the wave sand tolerate the pain is the beginning, surface level coping.
But the deeper healing is necessary, special attention to the attachment wounds - or it will only prolong the grief, or come up again in the next relationship.

15 Breakup Therapist Approved Coping Strategies When You Can’t Stop Crying or Overthinking After a Breakup:
🌀️ Step outside β€” feel the sun on your pretty little precious face, wind in your hair, and remember your body still belongs to you.
πŸ–ŠοΈ Pour every chaotic thought into your journal until your hand aches β€” then close it like sealing a spell. Try for 10 minutes
πŸ“± Text a beautiful friend send this exactly β€œ Hey cutie pie it's me your bestie.. so I’m spiraling about (you know who the heartbreaks) anyways can you send me a funny meme?” and let laughter interrupt the pain.
🚿 Take a shower β€” close your eyeballs and let the water hit your shoulders like a reset button, imagine it washing off everything that isn’t yours to hold.
