While images and layout are important, written content is the biggest factor in whether or not your newsletter is successful. Keep the content interesting, relevant, and easy to read.

Basic steps for a good newsletter

Step 1: Audience and Topic
The first thing you should do is consider your audience and pick a topic that will connect with them. Something personal and relevant to your business is always good.

Step 2: Proofreading
Next, make sure your content is accurate. If you’re discussing a particular topic, don’t be afraid to reference your sources. It builds credibility with your audience. Proofreading everything is also critical. Don’t just check for grammar errors, but review the language you use for consistency of tone and voice.

Step 3: Call-to-Action
Finally, include a call-to-action, either a link to your website or social media page, or some additional reading. You’ve got your customers attention, so take advantage of it.

Hello, my Fellow District 2 Residents and Clients!

Happy New Year to you, and what a new year it is! Since before the clock struck midnight , we here at Body Philosophy have been experiencing some substantial changes to our norm; too much to talk about in one newsletter, however, first things first. For the past few months, I have been immersing myself in some of the issues going on in our District. Being a business owner, part of my duty to you is to
have a respite where you can relax, and not have to deal with uncomfortable, homeless encounters and things of the like, which I know you have been subject to from time to time. I finally got fed up and I am doing something about it. What, you ask? Well, I am combining my business with my patriotism and am on the campaign trail with our City
Councilwoman Candidate, Ketty Citterio. I am dedicated to her campaign so much so, that I am opening up my business to her and to all our District 2 residents who are interested in testing the waters. I have only known Ketty for a short time now, but from what I have seen, she is very smart, kind, caring, and passionate about truth, change, and District 2. How Do I Purchase?

My method for this is a bit archaic. You would think with Technology being so advanced there would be an option on Square where you can make a purchase without making an appointment. Unfortunately, they don't allow for that, so I must go back to basics.

1. Make an appointment - I have set Square to be able to make advanced purchases however, you will have to make an appointment in order to purchase.
2. Call me Personally - Give me a call or email and we can take care of it over the phone. My preferred method of payment is Zelle, but how you want and need to pay is up to you!

IT'S THE END OF THE YEAR!

Hello, my amazing clients! I hope all is well.

Your Help is Appreciated

About 2 months ago I began volunteering with a small, but growing organization called Beacon for Him Ministries which is a Christian-based outreach that helps feed and minister to the homeless. I have been volunteering with them for a few months now doing massages and lending my voice to their worship group and I find it to be very rewarding. Every Monday I take my massage chair and I work on the homeless. The more I see them, they begin to trust me and confide in me about very personal things. As I listen to each person's testimony, I am reminded of all of the things I have that they don't. A few of the most important things to me is having a place to flop at the end of the day. Kick my feet up, pop open a cold one, and decompress from a hard day knowing that tomorrow is guaranteed to be abundant and safe. The homeless don't have that and it made me feel heartbroken. I told myself that if there was anything I could do to help, I would. This is how I'm helping.

If anyone of you would like to help, we happily take donations of clothes, shoes, coats, and blankets; anything you don't want or need would be welcome. Also, there is a great need for hygienic products. So simple yet so profound.

Classes/Workshops

Dear Clients.

Hey there! Thank you again for your time and your interest in reading my newsletters. They bring me joy to write and I hope they are informative as I do my best to bring you new services that I think will benefit everyone. The reason for this one, in particular, is because I get the question all the time "do you anything other than massage? Yes. It's a bit involved putting it into words so I have decided instead of telling you, to show you! In order to do that, I had to create something that will not only intellectually make you understand, but also intuitively understand. That being said, I have created classes that will do just that. One is a Couples Massage Workshop, and the other is a First Degree Reiki 1 class. Both can be instrumental in helping you and others find healing. Both classes are your basis for helping you understand your bodies and how the energy system works. The physical body we see is just condensed energy. We can manipulate that energy to help jumpstart our body's own capacity to heal. Yes, we have everything we need to heal our own bodies. Couples Massage Workshop

Welcome to my Body Philosophy Signature Couples Massage Workshop. I am happy to have you. I created this workshop to help couples learn to give each other basic massage therapy by using the tools at their disposal.
A common complaint I receive from my clients is "my partner massaged me and it hurt." Or, "my I massaged partner and I hurt myself". I have heard this so many times that I thought, why not create a workshop that would solve this problem? So I went to work creating this workshop that teaches the lay couple (or person) to give and receive massages that will actually benefit and not harm. First Degree Usui Reiki

In my last email, I wrote about Reiki as one of the services I offer. Again, it is the duty of a Reiki Master to carry it on. To carry it on not only for healing but for teaching as well.
Reiki finds you and not the other way around so if this resonates with you, then chances are you need to look further into it. But, before you even get started there are a few things you need to know such as, what is Reiki? Where does it come from? Who started it? Exactly HOW does it work? I have had three sessions with Debbie and I must say she is the best massage therapist I have ever had the privilege of seeing.
