Students Active in Community Health CSU Long Beach

We are SACH (Students Active in Community Health) and our purpose is to increase communication between students of different cultures. We do this by hosting a cultural mixer in the Spring. We also want to increase an understanding of the roles food plays in community health, as well as bringing up relevant health issues in the process. In order for this to happen, we at SACH will give our members opportunities for community service specifically relating to health and wellness. We will have speakers at our meetings that will talk about different topics relating to wellness within the community setting and will have different food challenges. We also want to serve the community in outreach activities such as wellness fairs.
