Our lives have been enriched and blessed by our grandparents. As their health began to decline we found that we needed to implement an immediate plan of care. We set out to find a caregiver who would support their needs at home and it proved to be a difficult task. How could we let just anybody into our family’s home to assume care for our beloved grandparents in the way that we would? Our experie

nce educating children sparked a desire to help this aging group of individuals whom we realized so desperately need special attention. It is now our passion to make this experience pleasant, organized, and downright easy for your family. We promise to ANCHOR your needs and keep your family afloat. ⚓️💪🏽 Hits HOME! ❤️‍🩹 Back in 1996 I, too, was diagnosed with this rare condition. If not for such fast-acting doctors, things could’ve been very different. Instead, it’s part of my journey that led me to Long Beach where my teaching career began, but then transitioned to small business owner. The path has been filled with many twists & turns that led to this current jOy & privilege of being work-from-home MAMApreneur supporting so many local families, along with my greatest jOy & accOmplishment thus far! The excursion cOntinues 💙🧒🏽 w/ my not-so lil’ SONshine!

⚓️🫶🏽CAREgiver Spotlight: ‘My name is Gloria and I’ve been a caregiver with Anchor over seven years. What made me want to be a caregiver was when I took care of my father, mother and two other family members. I realized that this is want brings joy to my heart. I have been so fortunate with all my clients, which are not just clients but they are my friends and then others are like my family. To go and share a day and time with them is amazing. Whether it’s appointments, outings or just spending time talking, helping around their home, it’s worth it! My clients/friends have their own personalities and are unique in their own ways. I enjoy getting up to go to work, and that’s due to my clients.’

To know Gloria is to love her! We are the lucky ones! 💙
