Sure our peaceful space and quality equipment make Body Language Pilates an amazing studio, but it’s the people who bring it to life!
Our instructors are highly qualified, well trained professionals who take pride in their craft & also like to have fun making our clients feel their best.

Shayna has been at BLP for over 3 years and brings such great energy to the studio! Trained at the Kane School for Core Integration in NYC, Shayna is full of knowledge about bodies and movement and she makes a mean peanut butter cup cookie! Her furry buddy Roxy keeps her in check when she’s not at the studio.

We welcome Ashley as the newest member of the BLP staff! With a Comprehensive Pilates Certification from Power Pilates in NYC and experience in physical education & athletics, Ashley will bring her own flair to the studio. You may spot her walking her pup Rosie around town too.

Christine has been on the schedule from time to time over the past 3 years as our spectacular sub! Christine is a Certified Athletic Trainer, and is currently enrolled in Columbia University’s Nurse Practitioner program. She is a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor through The Physical Mind Institute & a yoga instructor. Her paw pal Sandi is always happy to play!

I’m thrilled to have these three former clients become part of the studio staff!! It’s been 8 years since I founded the studio in Long Beach and I am so fortunate to have taken the leap of faith! Speaking of leaps, that’s me (Lori) with my fur baby Melody about to leap off!

We look forward to seeing all of our clients at the studio and we are always happy to welcome newcomers! Visit our Pilates community and see what sets us apart from the rest!
