Not everything that feels good is actually good for us.

And not everything that supports our growth feels easy in the moment.

There’s a difference between what comforts us…
and what strengthens us, what is beneficial for us.
Between what distracts… and what genuinely nourishes, and gives rise to our growth and expansion.

Kalyāṇa speaks to the kind of goodness that isn’t just pleasant — but life-enhancing. auspicious, or a blessing (even if it’s disguised). The kind of moral virtue that shapes who you become over time.

It invites us to notice: Are we choosing what is simply convenient… or what is truly supportive of our deeper well-being and spiritual growth ?

💬 What feels nourishing in your life right now ? Not just enjoyable, but genuinely supportive, and encouraging to your personal development and spiritual growth?

Life Warriors! 💫

Our March event lineup is filled with opportunities to ground, reflect, and deepen your practice.

Chant together.
Honor renewal.
Rest into sound.
Move with intention.
Study the inner layers of practice.

From Monthly Satsang & Kirtan to Renewal & Remembrance, from our Bodyscan Soundbath Meditation to Sun Salutations with Sue, and a deeper dive into stillness with Inner Asana: Yin Yoga Teacher Training, this month invites you inward.

March is a time of transition as we shift in season, a return to light, a recommitment to practice.

Show up for yourself, because what you cultivate internally strengthens the whole!

Which gathering will we see you at?

✨ Sanskrit Word of the Week ✨

Abhyāsa अभ्यास

Pronunciation: uh-BHYAH-suh

We tend to romanticize breakthrough.
The big shift.
The moment everything changes.
But most transformation doesn’t arrive in a single moment.
It arrives in the quiet decision to return —when it would be easier not to.
To return to your breath.
To your intention.
To your values.
To the version of you you’re growing into.
Not because you feel inspired… but because you’ve decided it matters.

Abhyāsa isn’t about motivation.
It’s about relationship. The relationship you build with what you choose to come back to : again and again : eventually becomes the ground you stand on.

You can do all the “right” things… and still feel misaligned.

Because life isn’t shaped by action alone —
it’s shaped by the energy behind the action.

Two people can say the same words.
Do the same practice.
Take the same steps forward.
And create completely different outcomes.

Why?

Bhāva.

Your inner attitude is always participating in what you create.

It’s the tone beneath your effort.
The feeling beneath your focus.
The posture of your heart as you move through your life.

✨ This week’s Sanskrit Word of the Week invites a subtle shift — not in what you do, but in how you show up while doing it.

Swipe through to explore Bhāva.

Then reflect:
💬 What inner state have you been bringing into your life lately — pressure, trust, doubt, devotion, urgency, openness?

Your awareness might be the beginning of your next becoming.

Discernment isn’t loud.

It doesn’t rush.
It doesn’t demand.
It doesn’t panic.
It whispers.

And most of the time… we override it.
Not because we’re incapable —
but because clarity asks us to grow.
Growth asks us to change.

And change asks us to release what’s familiar.

✨ Viveka is the moment you pause instead of react.
✨ The moment you notice instead of justify.
✨ The moment you choose who you’re becoming over who you’ve been.

Spiritual evolution isn’t built in grand gestures.
It’s built in subtle decisions —
repeated with care.

Swipe through to explore this week’s Sanskrit word and reflect on how discernment is already trying to guide you.
