We are very proud of the Oceanida Team (Ana Lucía, Andrea, Eugenia and Lucila) for finishing the World's Toughest Row (3000 miles) in 45 days, 1 hour and 35 minutes!!! is the 1st Mexican 🇲🇽 (and Latin American) rowing team to cross the Atlantic Ocean! They were the 4th in the women's class, 11th among the teams of four, and the 29th among all boats. Their race may be over, but their mission is barely starting. Our lifeguards who are certified at the EMR or at the EMT level and assigned to the Baja California Peninsula are equipped with Methoxyflurane inhalors (Penthrox® / Penthromax®) made in Australia by Medical Developments International and imported with CoFePRiS approval. This opioid-free analgesic allows our lifeguards to offer effective traumatic pain relief under medical direction in remote locations when advanced care is not available. We hope more lifeguard agencies in the American Continent consider starting to employ the "Green Whistle."

And they're off! The four members of Team www.Oceanida.mx have started their journey from La Gomera in Canary Islands and across the Atlantic Ocean as part of the World's Toughest Row™. Their trans-Atlantic crossing is estimated to last around 50 days. Here some more photos of the training they took with us in preparation for this adventure.

To date, we have trained and certified 400 students on how to control severe external bleeding through the STOP THE BLEED® Project (https://StopTheBleedProject.org/).
