When the weather keeps us indoors, we keep the energy flowing! Our residents had a fun morning doing indoor chair exercises…moving, stretching, and dancing keeping those muscles strong while sharing lots of smiles and laughter. 🎶💃🏻

🎃 It’s Never Too Early for Spooky Season! Our residents got a head start on the Halloween magic by crafting black cats, bright pumpkins, and wise owls that could charm any ghost or goblin!

Because here, creativity has no age limit… and the spirit of Halloween starts the moment the first pumpkin hits the table! 🧡

Today we learned something special! 🇩🇪 One of our lovely residents, Mia, shared that she was born in Berlin, so we took a little “trip” to Germany together!

Her wonderful daughter Irene led the session, helping everyone color pictures of a traditional German boy and girl…and afterward, we enjoyed some delicious German cookies. 🥰🍪

It’s always so meaningful when our residents’ families share their stories and traditions with us. Thank you, Irene!

Our residents had such a wonderful time exploring a sensory activity this week with Play-Doh Cloud! With colorful textures, playful shapes, and lots of laughter, it was a joy to see creativity come alive in their hands. 💜 From starfish to hearts and everything in between, each creation was uniquely beautiful..just like them.

And of course, we finished the day the sweetest way possible… with ice cream! 🍦💕 Nothing better than smiles, sunshine, and a little treat to top it all off!

Our residents lit up with joy as they painted cheerful sun designs, shared stories, and enjoyed the company of our amazing Valley Christian Schools friends! The kindness and patience of these students made every resident feel valued and inspired, reminding us that connection knows no age. 💗

We’re so thankful to have our Valley Christian friends back after summer break. The residents had the best time catching up, sharing stories, and enjoying rounds of BINGO together! 🥳☀️

☀️ Today’s theme was all about summer vacations! We started by sharing our favorite vacation memories, then took a trip back in time to the 1950s when road trips and motels were the highlight of summer. Families kept it simple back then—packing the car, exploring nearby towns, swimming in motel pools, and eating out.

We compared how vacations have changed over the years with air travel and bigger budgets making trips more elaborate. We also had a good laugh over true vacation mishaps, enjoyed a list of the top summer spots for 2025, and sang along to some classic summer songs. 🎶 ✈️

The ladies shared personal memories too—Mia talked about traveling to Europe with her husband, Sherry reminisced about summers at Crystal Lake, and Joanne showed a photo of the Atlantic City boardwalk while singing “Under the Boardwalk.” 🏖️

It was such a fun afternoon of stories, music, and great memories!
