Today is Guru Purnima—a day celebrated in India and other cultures to honor teachers, mentors, and guides. “Guru” means someone who brings light and direction, whether in life, work, or spirit.

To me, guru is also the inner light we all have—the voice that helps us find our way. A guru can be a mentor, a role model, or anyone who inspires us to learn and grow. Today is a reminder to learn from our experiences, strive for our highest ideals, and express gratitude to those who help us on our path.
