With the heaviest heart, I'm hate to say Bailey is no longer with us. This one stings and I'm not afraid to admit I've been struggling with her sudden departure..
She was my babe for 13 years and each one was better than the next. Bailey was happiest while eating (obvi), hiking, sunbathing, and laying in front of a fire on a cold day..
In her younger years, she was an absolute maniac for food and outsmarted me on many occasions to snag food, treats, entire loaves of bread, you name it. In her elder years, she enjoyed belly rubs from Shane, naps, running, and ensuring I was in the same room as her/accounted for/under control..
My heart hurts so so much, but I hope she's running free in a place where she can eat, hike and sleep until her heart is content...
Please feel free to share a memory of Bailey if you were lucky enough to meet her. That would certainly take some sting away. 🥹

The theme of this year's holidays was "Slow down. Like alllll the wayyyy down."

It's amazing how gratitude becomes so much more possible when you're rested and relaxed. 😎

Aside from COVID hitting the Block/Cox household, we nailed the holidays this year. 🎄☃️

Ladies and gentlemen, I now have a teenager. 🥹 BAILEY, HAPPY 13TH BIRTHDAY!

In her elder years, her sass hasn't slowed for a second, although she seems to appreciate cuddles a lot more. She still dive bombs for literal 💩 on the street and table surfs when we're not looking for scraps. Her snoring warms my heart like nothing else can. She always chases the sun spots, just like her mother. 🌻

Happy birthday to this sweet, sweet queen bish.

Happy GOTCHA day to this snow loving, sun bathing, snore-prone lunatic of a dog. You're 11 and we've spent 10 years together. A freakin' decade. As if I had thought for one moment you lost a shred of your luster, last week you strategically jumped up onto the dinner table to snag TWO chicken thighs while and I were clearing plates. You've taken to Minnesota like a champ and in your older age, your attachment to me is no joke. Stay healthy, because I want you around for another 10, Bails. 🐶🌟🧁
