Our speaker, Dr. Stephanie Nelson for “Climate, Context, and Cognition: Linking Environmental Change To Children’s Daily Lives”will now be taking place Friday April 24, 2026 from 12-2 pm. Connect environmental exposures to impact on children’s cognitive and emotional development, explore impact of environmental and social factors such as heat, air pollution, and noise disruption contribute to cumulative risk for children and adolescents, and discuss current evidence for climate linked emotional responses to climate events.

Our speaker, Sam Goldstein for “Harnessing Early-Life Plasticity: Implications For Intervention in Pediatric Neuropsychology”will now be taking place Sunday April 26, 2026 from 2-4 pm. Explore environmental impacts in the econeurobiology field, design frameworks that integrate environmental and contextual aspects into pediatric neuropsychology, coordinate intervention strategies that promotes developmental outcomes for periods of heightened plasticity and analyze cases to refine and create recommendations for children facing early life adversity or environmental risk.
