We're proud to announce that Shimadzu Medical Systems USA has completed the acquisition of California X-ray Imaging Services, Inc., which is now officially our new California Branch! Shimadzu will strengthen its medical systems business structure in North America by integrating CIS into SMS and developing new products and services based on customer needs. Additionally, we will continue to expand our direct sales and service areas to improve profitability and contribute to the development of Shimadzu's healthcare business. This expansion allows us to better serve healthcare facilities across Northern California, and Northern Nevada.

Last week Shimadzu's dealer partner, Alpha Biomedical & Diagnostic, Corp. joined a cardiology congress in Puerto Rico.
