There’s lots of talk about how the digestive system and the health of it can impact the beauty of your skin, mental well-being, and having the nutrients to fuel tendon, muscles and connective tissue growth / rebuilding.
What happen if you try to improve your gut health and nothing is changing or it continues to get worse.
There’s one thing that I wish more people looking for performance, pain reduction, and gut healing should know….
Your respiratory system share the same entrance as your digestive system.
Your respiratory system is more than your lungs, but includes your skull, sinus, jaw, throat, and rib cage.
So if you have
🔸sleep apnea
🔹snoring
🔸jaw clenching
🔹sigh often
🔸trouble getting breath of air
🔹fatigue
🔸brain fog
🔹waking up with dry eyes or sore throat
🔸sinus troubles, thinking it’s allergies
🔹just feeling like you are trying too hard to get gains at the gym…
Try looking at how you can open and close your airway when you talk, chew, drink, and move.
I tell people at my clinic…
🔹 Strength is important, but if you’re not delivering enough oxygen for the activity or your day / night, you will have a hard time exchanging that strength for that much needed oxygen.
When you eat and chew, the ability to chew and alternate with nasal breathing relaxes the connective tissue from head, throat, to rib cage… and even pelvis!
Notice if you’re scarfing your food and gasping air through your mouth or holding your breath.
Notice if you’re taking and able to exchange with nasal respiration.
Lung is number one in my system.
Many will get a protocol to make their lungs more powerful and to be able to exchange air flow more efficiently.
Then we simultaneously coordinate this with basic and athletic movements.
I’ve seen countless clients who are left to figure out their healing on their own, as it’s too complex for the doctors.
This simple idea has brought many back to life.
Test and practice the integration of your respiratory and digestive system.
Movement reinforces your inner health. Working on your inner health opens up more doors for your body to explore.
