Dr. Solomon Laktineh is board certified in both Pediatrics and Neonatology. He graduated from University of Damascus School of Medicine. He successfully completed his Pediatric Residency and Neonatology Fellowship at University of Illinois. His passion for bettering the health of newborns and children is clearly recognized as he won Patient’s Choice Award for the consecutive years of 2010, 2011 and 2012. Dr. Laktineh was also awarded Most Compassionate Doctor for 2012. He also has a heart for children struggling with weight issues and has spearheaded his own weight-loss program to his patients to help with physical and social issues of being overweight. This program is available at no cost for all his patients. On his free time, Dr. Laktineh enjoys a challenging game of tennis and loves to try new restaurants.
