Safe Refuge The organization now known as Safe Refuge began in 1988 and was known as the Substance Abuse Foundat

Now in its 26th year, Safe Refuge is known for offering a complete continuum of care: from residential and outpatient drug and alcohol treatment to helping clients ultimately gain employment so that they may retake control of their lives. At Safe Refuge, we believe everyone deserves the chance to recover from addictions to alcohol or drugs and so our programs are open to the population at large – not just those financially able to fund their own recovery. We also serve clients with combined mental health and addiction issues (co-occurring disorders).

One of the most critical moments of a lady's journey at the Hoving Home is her arrival. Helping her feel welcome and safe is always a special moment for every woman who enters the Home. Here, a woman has made a courageous decision to take the first step toward her new life in Christ at our Garrison campus. We pray that the love of Jesus fills her life as He transforms her from the inside out! Please continue to pray for her and all the ladies at the Hoving Home as they continue on their journey for life transformation through Christ.
