Why Survivors Stay
Leaving an abusive relationship isn’t as simple as “just leaving.”
Survivors stay for many reasons including: fear, financial dependence, isolation, children, manipulation, or cultural pressures.
Instead of asking “Why didn’t they leave?”, let’s start asking
👉 “What made it unsafe for them to leave?”
👉 “How can we help make it safer?”
💜 Believe survivors.
💜 Support without judgment.
💜 Share resources and advocate for safety.
If you or someone you know is experiencing abuse:

HAPPY DENIM DAY!!! Our staff wore denim today to raise awareness on sexual violence and sexual violence prevention, but most importantly to stand in solidarity with survivors of sexual violence. We believe you and absolutely NOTHING makes sexual violence a survivor’s fault. We are here for you! ❤️
