Our Story
Our extraordinary story begins in 1909 when a group of concerned Long Branch citizens took action to improve the living conditions of their neighbors in need. Their original promise, to help children and families facing challenging times, remains our Mission. Today FCS provides compassionate care, intervention and education to more than 9,000 people in Monmouth County and beyond. We guard vulnerable adults from abuse, neglect and financial exploitation. We prevent homelessness in at-risk populations. We provide home care, respite care and support services to frail, elderly and disabled individuals who want to continue living at home. We counsel seniors about their Medicare options. And we engage hundreds of adult volunteers in programs that enrich their lives and promote the health and well-being of children and families in our communities. Together, we deliver on our vision -- to strengthen, protect and preserve the dignity and independence of people in need. Learn more at www.fcsmonmouth.org
