“ I first discovered this amazing space Just Bee Yoga through my friend Sue. With her guidance and encouragement, I quickly fell in love with it. Wanting to deepen my practice, I decided to say “yes” to myself for my 60th birthday and completed my teacher training.

I’m drawn to poses that challenge me—anything that helps me grow both physically and mentally. Right now, my favorite is Half Moon.

What I love most about yoga, beyond the incredible community, is how it helps me stay flexible, strong, and resilient—keeping my body healthy and injury-free ❤️”

Hot yoga for 1 year and hooked!

💛 Why I Practice:
Grief brought me to my mat in 2010 after losing my brother to su***de . What began as a lifeline is now a non-negotiable. Yoga has carried me through trauma, three pregnancies, a corporate career, and motherhood to Three beautiful children.

At 40, I need both movement and mindfulness — and a reminder to slow down. I return to my mat and this quote:
✨ “What lies before us and what lies behind us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”

Yoga has been woven into every chapter of Denise’s life for over two decades. Her journey began with prenatal yoga—offering gentle support, improved circulation, and relief for her body. As she stepped into motherhood and a busy working life, her practice evolved into a powerful tool for managing stress, building strength, and restoring balance.

Today, Denise is grateful to be part of the vibrant Just Bee Yoga hive 🐝—a welcoming sanctuary where students support one another and grow together. What she loves most is the variety of classes that allow her to honor what her body and mind need each day—whether it’s an energizing Vinyasa flow, a grounding Hatha practice, or a deeply nourishing Yin or Restorative class.

🌟 Meet Sue — Our Student of the Month! 🌟

For the past 15 years, yoga has been Sue’s sanctuary — a space to explore inner peace, practice self-care, and stay fit while connecting with a supportive community. 💛

It’s a practice she truly looks forward to and deeply misses whenever she’s away.

One of the greatest gifts yoga has offered her is breathwork — a powerful tool to help calm the mind, regulate energy, reduce stress, and find clarity throughout her day.
