When Faby handed us a 10-page report—written entirely in Spanish—we were stunned. It was filled with data and insights to improve Kommissary’s operations. And yet, at the time, Faby was still dicing onions as a line cook.
Fast forward four promotions later, and she now leads our entire Bronx warehouse, managing operations with a mix of Spanish, Google Translate, and unbeatable work ethic. Her story reflects what Kommissary stands for—empowering our team to grow and thrive, no matter where they come from or language they speak.
