Since its grand opening in 2011, the ESpace has served more than 600 foodpreneurs who started from seed and graduated to a co-packer or their own facility. The Entrepreneur's Space is a partnership between the Queens Economic Development Corporation and Mi Kitchen es su Kitchen ®. Funded in part through the New York City Economic Development Corporation, this innovative incubator provides a home t

o emerging businesses and organizations seeking offices, a commercial kitchen and/or classroom/meeting space. In addition to space, clients can receive business counseling, technical assistance and networking opportunities - all at a reasonable cost. Tours of The Entrepreneur's Space include viewing the fully furnished offices and workstations are available by appointment. Office and workstations are available on a short term basis for up to three years. You can also visit the commercial kitchen which is open 24/7 on a shift basis.

Today, we are excited to introduce you to Giuseppe Buonanno, the sustainable farmer behind the exquisite Sicilian lemons that make Milène’s Sicilian Salted Lemon Chocolate Bars so special.

Giuseppe, along with Melita Brancati, is the visionary force behind - Organic Farm. When they first encountered their land, it was in need of much care and attention. Despite facing skepticism from other farmers, Giuseppe’s unwavering belief in the land’s potential led him to plant the first thousand orange and Mandarin trees. His dedication and hard work have transformed the farm into a flourishing organic haven.

Their philosophy is rooted in a desire to share natural, organic, and artisanal products that have been cherished by their families for generations. Jack’s Dad’s Hummus has been mostly available through farmers markets, and this is their first time being sold at a local chain store. We are excited to see the business grow!

📌The Entrepreneur Space has a solution for you! We have a semiprivate workstation available for rent. 🗄️

Sometimes you have to take that leap of faith in your business. It is not easy working from home with all the constant interruptions. The workstations are very quiet. In addition to the general description mentioned below is access to The QEDC Virtual Counselors and the two on- site counselors.

WorkStation 3 is $375 per month
seating for 1 person with an L-shaped desk
with an under the desk filing cabinet, a 4-drawer lateral file cabinet, 2 overhead storage filing spaces, a small side table, and a rolling desk chair.
This workstation is away from the window so if you typically like your work area to be a bit darker this one is for you. Includes limited wifi, light housekeeping, receptionist, and use of break room with vending machine.

The Queens Tech + Innovation Challenge is a business competition that offers grants and support to local startups, by winning the category Milène received a $20,000 grant! Milène has been a client at the Entrepreneur Space for many years, working hard making her artisanal chocolate truffles and bars and slowly growing her business. Milène has a line of artisanal chocolate truffles, and each flavor tells a story and takes the consumer on a journey to a different country to experience a new flavor. Along with this, she also does a wine/alcohol chocolate pairing. By winning this challenge, it will take her business to the next level.
