In honor of National Civil Servants Day, our residents at Ruth’s House shared a heartfelt thank-you with the Longmeadow Police Department.

Residents signed a card and baked homemade chocolate chip cookies to show appreciation for the dedication and service our civil servants provide every day. Karen Matz, accompanied by Delila Jones, delivered the treats and thanks on behalf of the Ruth’s House community. A small gesture for those who make such a big difference!

The New Year was welcomed with joy at Leavitt Family Jewish Home as residents enjoyed a festive New Year’s Eve celebration filled with music, smiles, and togetherness. It was a wonderful way to ring in new beginnings and share a moment of celebration as a community.

We rang in the New Year singing karaoke favorites, tooting party horns, and sipping sparkling juice together. The laughter and joy made it a celebration to remember.

Here’s to more fun, music, and great times ahead… we’re already looking forward to the next party!

Families were invited to join us at Ruth’s House Assisted Living for a special holiday dinner, bringing loved ones together to celebrate the season.

The evening was filled with good food, meaningful conversation, and the joy that comes from sharing traditions with family. Moments like these remind us that Ruth’s House is more than a place to live—it’s a community where family is always welcome.

We were filled with holiday cheer at Ruth’s House Assisted Living during a special afternoon of holiday music with the wonderful moms from More than Mom Inc’s Mom Group.

Their joyful voices, warm smiles, and generous spirit brought so much happiness to our residents and truly captured the magic of the season. We are so grateful they chose to share their time and hearts with our community—it meant more than words can say.

As the last candles of Hanukkah are lit, we reflect on the light, resilience, and hope that define this meaningful season. Hanukkah reminds us of the power of tradition, the strength of community, and the importance of passing values from one generation to the next.

During this season of light, we also extend warm wishes to those in our community who are celebrating Christmas and Kwanzaa, honoring the joy, faith, and reflection these holidays bring.

What a wonderful evening at JGS Lifecare! Our auditorium was full for a fantastic performance by Ira Brezinsky and his Brass Quintet. The music filled the room and made for a truly memorable night.

Thank you to everyone who generously donated items to be sent to Jamaica.
Because of your kindness, we collected an abundance of essential items that will be truly needed and deeply appreciated.

A special thank you to Talk of the Town, a Jamaican restaurant on Wilbraham Road in Springfield, for allowing us to drop off all donated items so they could be shipped together with their own contributions.

We are no longer collecting additional donations, as everything has already been delivered.

Thank you again for coming together to support such an important and meaningful cause.
