🌟 As part of Older Americans Month, we are continuing to spotlight the talented individuals who make our community so special. Today, we're proud to feature Elaine.
Elaine has a lifelong passion for leather crafting. In 1971, she and her husband began operating the Scottsdale Belt Co. stand at the Eastern States Exposition (The Big E). Over the years, Elaine traveled across the country, showcasing and selling handcrafted leather goods at numerous shows and festivals.
Even today, Elaine remains connected to the craft she loves and recently spent time helping at the Scottsdale Belt Co. stand, now operated by her son, Manny, and his wife. Here at Glenmeadow, Elaine continues to share her creativity and craftsmanship, with several of her beautiful leather pieces on display in our Resident Art Gallery.
Thank you, Elaine, for sharing your talent, artistry, and lifelong passion with our community.
