Today, I want to express my deepest gratitude to those who have served. Being a (former) Army wife for ten years changed me—it gave me an understanding of the sacrifices made by our service members and their families, and how loving someone in the military is a unique experience, filled with resilience, strength, and hardship that few can truly comprehend. And many days preparing for the day the doorbell rang and I was told he wouldn’t make it home. Luckily, that day never came for me. But did for so many.
During those years, I had the honor of volunteering with the military community, and today, I continue working with military members as a therapist. It’s my way of giving back to those who sacrificed so much.
For our veterans, the military always came first—above family, personal dreams, and any comfort or certainty. They faced choices and challenges many will never know, committing their lives to something greater than themselves, saying, “This isn’t about me. This is about my country.”
To all veterans—I see you, I hear you, and I honor you. Your courage and sacrifices are beyond words, and my gratitude for you is endless.
Thank you. 🇺🇸 You have my unwavering support. ❤️🤍💙
