If you’ve ever looked in the mirror and noticed a tiny, bright red bump on your skin, you’re not alone. That’s called a cherry angioma, and while the name sounds cute, we know they can be annoying!

So, what is a cherry angioma?

👉🏼 A cherry angioma is a benign overgrowth of tiny blood vessels right near the surface of the skin.
They often pop up as we age (hello, 30s and 40s 👋🏼), and they’re more common than you think.

While they’re harmless, many people want them gone for cosmetic reasons — especially when they multiply or get raised and irritated.
