On January 20th, our community liaison, Wendy Huddleston, had the opportunity to attend "Day at the Capitol", hosted by COPRA (Colorado Placement & Referral Alliance). Wendy deeply appreciated the experience and emphasized the importance of coming together with our care community members at this event.

I’m Alma Barba, one of CCP’s wound care nurses. I’ve been in healthcare for over 10 years in different settings. I was attracted to work with CCP because of the wound care innovations they provide to patients in the convenience of their homes.

I enjoy working as a wound nurse as it’s satisfying to see the progress of all sorts of wounds (such as chronic, non-healing, surgical wounds, etc.) to finally getting healed and being a part of the patient’s healing journey. CCP has a great team that works hand in hand with patients and their families to achieve one common goal.

CCP indeed lives up to its name. It’s a blessing to work in a company that has compassion not only for patients, but for its employees as well. 💙💚
