The Longmont United Hospital Foundation is dedicated exclusively to supporting healthcare services at Longmont United Hospital through philanthropy. One of the primary goals of the Foundation is to help ensure that Longmont United Hospital will have the best possible facilities and equipment to help you and your loved ones when medical care is needed. Your tax ded

uctible gifts help us achieve this important mission. Naming opportunities are available in many areas throughout the hospital including the emergency department which serves over 45,000 patients each year. Within the Emergency Department, CAT scan, Digital Radiology, and a laboratory reside which will speed the process of diagnosing your health concern. A two-suite cardiac catheterization lab is accessible for diagnosis and intervention 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We love supporting other non profits in our community who focus on health and wellness! Longmont United Hospital Foundation is proud to support Veterans Community Project and our incredible Veterans in Longmont! We ae also honored taht the first resident, Chris, was able to join us.

A plaque dedication ceremony was held yesterday to honor the completion of a new tiny home in the VCP’s Longmont veterans’ housing village. The home was constructed thanks to a $50,000 grant from the Longmont United Hospital Foundation.

Floors 2 and 3 in the patient tower will receive new carpet, paint, lighting, furniture, and TV’s as part of the refresh. We want to thank our LUH foundation donors who have made this possible! Happy retiment to longtime Longmont United Hospital family physician Dr. Mark Hinman! Dr. Hinman has been a staple at LUH and in Longmont since joining his father’s practice in 1993. Dr. Hinman grew up in Longmont and attended Longmont High School. After receiving a BA in Biology and Chemistry from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas, he graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1986. Family practice residency training was completed in 1989 at the USAF Medical Center Scott, Scott AFB, IL. Dr. Hinman practiced 4 years with the Air Force at Ramstein 316th Air Base Clinic in Ramstein, Germany to complete the obligation for his military scholarship through medical school. In 1993, He joined his father’s practice in Longmont, Colorado and has continued to practice since his father’s retirement in 1997. Dr. Hinman also had the honor of serving as Chief of Staff for Longmont United. LUH Chief Medical Officer Dr. Pearson and LUH President Deb Mohesky honored Dr. Hinman by adding his name to the LUH Emeritus Medical Staff wall joining his father John! Dr. Hinman was joined by his wife Ann, office and medical staff along with many guests. We will miss you Dr. Hinman. Enjoy your well earned retirement!
