The Longmont United Hospital Foundation is dedicated exclusively to supporting healthcare services at Longmont United Hospital through philanthropy. One of the primary goals of the Foundation is to help ensure that Longmont United Hospital will have the best possible facilities and equipment to help you and your loved ones when medical care is needed. Your tax deductible gifts help us achieve this important mission. Naming opportunities are available in many areas throughout the hospital including the emergency department which serves over 45,000 patients each year. Within the Emergency Department, CAT scan, Digital Radiology, and a laboratory reside which will speed the process of diagnosing your health concern. A two-suite cardiac catheterization lab is accessible for diagnosis and intervention 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

New permanent artwork in the Surgery Waiting Room! This was made possible by LUH Foundation funding alongside employee giving! Welcome Tanya Pawelski’s photography prints to the walls! Tanya has been an employee here Longmont United Hospital for almost 33 years! Earlier this year we were able to renovate and revamp this waiting room. Shout out to the very generous employee, who would like to remain anonymous, who donated funds for that project. Today, we are so happy to be able to add more beautiful artwork to these walls! 🩵

Have you been through to see the Autumn Installation in the Art Walkway & Main Lobby? 🌟

All pieces are from local artists and hanging until the end of the year! Every piece can be purchased and taken home the same day & a small portion of art sales goes to benefit the LUH Foundation! 🩵

To find the artwork within the hospital- enter through the main lobby and look around! Follow the corridor to the right of the elevators in the main lobby to follow along the ArtWalk Hallway!

Featured artists from this installation include: Jessica Marshall, EV Weaver, Hunter Welsh, Barbara Stone, Joy Redstone, Ella Luzzi, Alexi Grojean & Lucas Farlow!

New permanent artwork now in Day Surgery! 🌟
These three fiber pieces found their new home today in the hospital! Made possible by LUH Foundation funding as well as employee giving! Welcome Darcy Fitzpatrick to the walls. Darcy is a freelance installer/ display artist, floral designer and carpenter right here in Longmont! Her work can be found in Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine, AFlorae and Juniper Goods as well as has been showcased throughout the US. We are so excited to bring this art into Longmont United Hospital 💙🧡🤍

LUH Foundation surprised our hospital staff by bringing out Ziggi's Coffee's Beverage Trailer on Wednesday as a thank you for all they do for our hospital, patients and community! Without our healthcare workers we wouldn't be Longmont United! By the way- turns out our staff really loves Ziggi's! ☕ 🙌

Thank you all for an amazing evening at the LUH Foundation's Longmont Chamber After Hours event last Thursday, Oct 30th! Hosted at Longmont United Hospital- we highlighted 7 of our key service lines/programs including OB/Women's Health, Oncology (Hope Cancer Center), Emergency Department, GI, Primary Care Clinics, Community Health, Surgery (including the Da Vinci Robot), and Quality Outcomes. We also dedicated and blessed our new patient family rooms and kitchens that same night! 🙌

We would like to highlight one of the community resources we have here just outside the hospital! A free, open to all community fridge, pantry and freezer located between the main lobby entrance and emergency entrance. Yesterday we noticed they were nearly empty, so the LUH Foundation restocked with essential dry goods and hygiene products. We are so happy to help contribute to our community in this way and would like to thank Longmont Food Rescue , and UpRoot Colorado for executing and maintaining this resources through their Longmont Community Fridges project. This is a space open to all to either donate or pick up from. If you've got the extra goods or the funds and time to donate- please feel free to stop by to help take care of our community.
& thank you to the Firehouse Art Center for painting our first fridge & pantry! Hoping to get those last two freezers painted very soon!

New permanent artwork is now up in the Day Surgery lobby! This was made possibly from the LUH Foundation partially funding alongside employee giving, and we're so excited to bring in multiple pieces from this local artist! Kristen Ross is a landscape painter based in Boulder, Colorado who's inspired by her outdoor adventures and nature's wild spaces. A portion of all proceeds from her sales is donated to National Park Foundation and the National Parks Conservation Association. 🌲

On Sept 19, 2025, LUH Foundation, Longmont Food Rescue, UpRoot Colorado and Longmont United Hospital (LUH) Staff participated in distributing fresh food to those in need within our community! This important partnership extends our community outreach efforts and emphasizes the importance of healthy food and living for everyone, especially those in most need. LUH Foundation was again a sponsor of this amazing cause! Distribution dates were July 18th, August 15th, and September 19th. We’d like to give a shout out to a very generous employee who donated funds to fully cover the replacement of carpet flooring in our surgery waiting room. This employee, who wants to remain anonymous, cares so deeply for the hospital that he came to the foundation and asked what he could do to support maintenance of the hospital. We had a project! Our foundation works closely with hospital administration and facilities to prioritize projects that could be years out from being funded while keeping in mind patient comfort and experience. This room has a new lease on life with paint, new lighting, sconces, and of course flooring.
