Continuing life's celebrations no matter where life takes you is our team's specialty! One of our residents and his wife celebrated 65 years together. Our staff supported this celebration by providing transportation, and set up their table ahead of time to make it extra special! They were able to focus on each other and enjoy their meal together! We loved getting to honor their love and commitment to each other! ❤️ Do you know anyone who has been married for over 65 years?

We wrote over 60 cards for sick children at Children's Hospital of Colorado. We had over half of our residents participate in making cards. Kiana and Natalie donated the cards this morning to Big O Tires and The Slacker Show for their Valentine Card Donation event.

🎉 Jean’s Journey to Recovery 🎉

Jean joined us on 12/20/2024 after a right hip fracture. After a brief return to Brookdale, she was readmitted on 1/16/2025 due to a left tibial malleolus fracture. By 2/7/2025, Jean had completed her second rehab stay, regaining her baseline function. She went from needing maximum assistance to walking 120 feet with a front-wheeled walker and contact guard assistance. 💪✨

Shane came to us on 1/16 with cellulitis in his right leg, needing oxygen and unable to walk. By his discharge on 2/7, he no longer needed oxygen, could walk, and had a healed wound. We also managed his fluid overload, bringing his weight under 300 pounds for the first time in 10 years! Thanks to our dedicated team, Shane made incredible progress and became moderately independent in all activities. 💪✨
