The Green House Project
The Green House project offers a radical and innovative approach to elder care in Longmont. Each one of the 8100 square foot houses will have 12 private bedroom suites, each with its own full bathroom, accessible chef style kitchen, beautiful living room anchored by a fireplace, a community dining room for everyone to eat family style, a den for watching TV or using the computer, a front porch and sun-room for visiting with friends and family. The houses will be managed by the Elders who live there and the team of Shahbazim, (certified nursing assistants), who work there.
