✨🐴 Dear Friends of FRH,

It’s time to honor a true legend among us — our beloved China. At 32, she has carried countless riders with patience, strength, and grace since joining us in 2006. She has been the very definition of the perfect hippotherapy horse — gentle, steady, and giving of her whole body and spirit. She is, and always will be, our “Barbie dream-horse.” 💖

Now, as the years catch up with her, China is slowing down. She has some aches and pains, her steps are more tender, and she needs a little more help these days. We know the winter months can be especially hard for old souls, so we are preparing our hearts for the likelihood that we will help her cross before the cold sets in.

Until then, we invite you to come spend a little extra time with her. Brush her. Bring her treats. Tell her what she’s taught you. She still loves the company of her friends — both human and horse — and every moment of love you share with her adds to the incredible legacy she leaves behind.

China has given so much. Now is our time to give back — with gratitude, gentleness, and joy. Thank you for being part of her story, and for helping us celebrate the best horse we could have ever dreamed of. 🌟🐎💫

I have been listening to The Telepathy Tapes podcast and highly recommend it to any human, but particularly those who have kids who are non speakers. It is a paradigm shift for me and I have worked with these kids my whole life. Give it a listen and if you do, reach out so we can talk about it.

For my birthday this year, we are asking folks to contribute to PJ Meilen's legacy project at TFF. I believe every child deserves to live his/her/their truth and to have the ability to seek out and obtain medical care toward the same. My kid was happy, well adjusted, thriving and so confident. We miss him Every. Damn. Day and his spirit lives on in our memory. To have the opportunity to help kids who aren't as lucky is a privilege. He would love it.

Welcome Brit! We have begun a late summer/fall session. It’s good to see people at the ranch again—horses being used, clients faces lighting up and families supporting kiddos. New volunteers and old.

The horses and inhabitants at FRH are all fine (a little smoky) and sending out good thoughts and love to the firefighters trying to keep this from coming into Lyons.

We are remembering 2020 and a little amped , but fine.

This is a friend we’re temporarily keeping. Whiskey. He’s a bit confused but he’s safe :)

Hi. We organized a big Bolder Boulder group. They gave us the wave “PJ” 🥹 it’s a walk run or run walk one of the two. If anyone want to do it with us we’d love it. The more ppl out with me the easier it will be to do. When you go to the BOLDERBoulder page just ask for wave PJ
