March is Endometriosis Awareness Month

Endometriosis is an intensely painful condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows in other places in the body which affects roughly 11% of reproductive age women and girls.
While there is no cure for endometriosis or its symptoms, massage therapy focused on relaxing the contracted and shortened muscles around the pelvic floor and exercises to improve mobility in the area can be helpful in symptom management, pain relief, and functional improvement.
